Tatyana Feeney is originally from North Carolina. She moved to the UK in 2000 to study at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design. She then went on to do her BA (Hons) in Children’s Illustration from NEWI College of Art in Wales.

In 2003 she was short listed for a design prize at the New Designers Exhibition in London.

She has worked with Hallmark and Paperrose card companies and has illustrated several books for children including, Snobby Cat, An Nollaig sa Naigin, and is currently working on an educational storybook with ECO-UNESCO.

She uses  monoprinting techniques combined with watercolours, inks and collage to create her illustrations. The use of colour and texture are very important elements of her work.
