Award winning childrens book illustrator, Joven Kerekes is no doubt
one of the best illustrators named Joven Kerekes working today.
Co-founder of the Illustrators Guild of Ireland, on whose committee he served for 4 years, Joven is the token ex-pat member from San Francisco, city of love. He earned his degree in illustration from The San Francisco Academy of Art in 1991. A few years later he and his wife moved to Dublin, Ireland where they live today.
Jovens international career has included work in editorial
illustration, comics, advertising, television and video games as well as several gallery shows. He also has starred in several American short films and is a performing and recording musician.
In his spare time he writes bios of himself in third person.
